What you can expect

  • Development of customer-specific photovoltaic concepts as well as design and implementation planning, including yield simulations
  • Evaluation of technical implementation options and selection of suitable PV components (e.g. substructure, modules, inverters)
  • Supporting the sales and purchasing departments with construction planning and technical issues in the quotation, planning, procurement and implementation phases as well as technical review and evaluation of supplier quotations
  • Supporting the project and construction department with implementation in the project realization phase
  • Preparation of technical documentation after completion of construction projects
  • Visiting construction sites and evaluating and documenting completed installations
  • Training new colleagues and providing guidance and support for employees within the Design Engineering team
  • Supporting other projects and processes in the area of Engineering & Project Execution

What you bring with you

  • Degree in civil engineering or comparable completed professional training in the electrical engineering field
  • Relevant professional experience as an electrical planner or electrical engineer
  • Basic knowledge in the field of renewable energies, preferably photovoltaics
  • Experience with AutoCAD, PVsol and PVsyst desirable
  • Proficient in German and very good command of English
  • Strong communication skills, independent and reliable way of working
  • Team-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 5-10%)
