What you can expect

As an electrical engineering planner in the project team, you will be primarily responsible for the electrical planning and project management of complex and varied ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, including systems in with storage solutions.

Participation in planning and project management of PV projects:

  • Designing, planning and layout of low/medium-voltage systems
  • Independent creation of electrical plans
  • Calculation and dimensioning of electrotechnical components on the DC/AC side as well as low/medium and high voltage side
  • Checking and designing the grid connection and grid integration

Participation in the realization of PV projects:

  • Coordination with suppliers, service providers, grid operators and other stakeholders on electrotechnical matters
  • Organization and coordination of commissioning of grid connections/PV systems
  • Preparation and review of electrotechnical documentation
  • Organization and coordination of system certificates and declarations of conformity in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110/4120

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of energy technology/electrical engineering or comparable qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman 
  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering construction desirable, preferably in photovoltaic system planning/construction
  • Structured and independent way of working combined with teamwork and communication skills 
  • You are goal-oriented and skilled in problem-solving 
  • Very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1) are a prerequisite, good written and spoken English skills are an advantage
  • You have knowledge in energy distribution technology (medium voltage, low voltage, protection/safety technology) 
  • Confident handling of MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Available to travel nationally (~20-50%)
