What you can expect

As electrical engineer SCADA, you will be the member of the project team mainly responsible for the electrical engineering planning, project engineering and implementation of the SCADA system for complex and varied ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, including systems with storage solutions.

Involvement in planning and project engineering of PV projects:

  • Designing, planning and layout of communication and control technology
  • Independent creation of electrical diagrams
  • Checking and designing the SCADA system

Collaboration in the realization of PV projects:

  • Coordination with suppliers, service providers, grid operators and other stakeholders on all aspects of monitoring, control- and data collection
  • Organization, coordination and implementation of the entire communication and control technology
  • Carrying out test operations, control tests and commissioning
  • Creation and review of electrotechnical documentation
  • Preparation of system certificates and declarations of conformity in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110/4120

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of energy technology/electrical engineering/mechatronics or comparable qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman
  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, energy technology, network control technology or industrial automation technology, preferably in photovoltaic system planning/construction
  • Structured and independent way of working combined with teamwork and communication skills
  • You are goal-oriented and skilled in problem-solving
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills are required
  • Knowledge of communication and network technology is essential
  • Knowledge of energy distribution technology (medium voltage, low voltage, protection technology) desirable
  • Confident handling of MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Available to travel nationally (~50%)
