Project Manager Approval Management Onshore Wind Germany (m/f/x)

Project management:

• Support for wind energy projects from the preparation of approval planning to readiness for construction
• Analysis of projects for possible approval risks
• Coordination with authorities involved in the approval process
• Participation in discussion meetings
• Internal and external stakeholder management

Approval management:

• Collaboration in approval planning and preparation of application documents
• Obtaining and reviewing all relevant expert opinions
• Active support during the approval process
• Evaluation of comments from the authorities involved, public agencies and the public
• Developing strategies to avoid delays in the approval process
• Advising the project team on approval law issues
• Supporting objection and legal proceedings with the involvement of the legal department

• Successfully completed studies (university of applied sciences or university) in the field of environmental sciences or spatial planning or completed studies in the field of engineering or comparable qualification
• Relevant and demonstrably successful professional experience in the field of approval procedures for wind energy
• Strong knowledge of the BImSchG and other relevant legislation as well as regional planning
• Good knowledge of industry-standard software packages such as WindPRO and ArcGIS is desirable
• Experience in project management and coordination of internal and external teams
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Independent and structured way of working
• Business fluent in German and English
• Driving license class B
